My boat is a 33′ Egg Harbor 1987 with twin gas engines. My family and I love to spend time on the water and love the boat, but have always had holding tank odor issues especially when I turn the air on. We’ve tried everything to get rid of them. About a year ago, I saw the Clear Air System advertisement in a magazine and called them. After talking about how the system works I ordered one. The installation was easy and took approximately 3 hours but it only took minutes to notice the improvement in air quality!! After changing the carpet and further cleaning, the boat now has NO more odors which makes the cabin far more comfortable to be in and my wife thinks its’ the best!!! Now we don’t worry when we open the boat after being gone days or weeks because it’s always fresh and clean. We really recommend this system to any boat owner.

I am Captain Jay Henna of the sport fisherman Voodoo Lady. She is a 55′ Hatteras with very demanding and particular owners who spend months at a time on the vessel. We put only the highest quality products on this boat and do not have room for any unnecessary equipment. We have had a slight odor issue coming from the bilge-Holding area and the owners liked the idea of the Toilet Ventilation part of the system for the Master Head. After looking into how the system worked, we decided to install it. The owners are very pleased with the Clear Air System and I am too!! My wife and I just retired and are going to travel and live aboard our 53′ Atlantic cabin cruiser. I do most of my own work on the boat. When we saw the Clear Air System ad, we wanted to know more and after a quick phone call, they came out to my boat and explained how the system worked. The system was easy to install and the air quality in the boat cabin shows significant and amazing improvement. After installation, my cabinetry in the boat doesn’t swell due to humidity and is no longer hard to use also are clothes don’t have odors any more, thanks to the ventilation provided by the Clear Air System. I also installed the Head ventilation part of the system and it works so well I installed a second one to the guest head and forward holding tanks.

We highly recommend this system for any boat with a cabin — especially boats that are live aboards.

My Wife and I are new owners of a Hunter 410 (2002) and love the boat but it had odor issues. My wife has a very sensitive nose, and was always complaining about the odors coming from the forward Head and Holding Tank areas. At one point I replaced the hoses and put in odor eater bags but that only helped a little. The odors were also coming from the rear Holding Tank under the master berth as well as diesel odors from the engine compartment. After looking at the system on our friends boat and getting such a good recommendation – we installed the Clear Air System and ran lines to both Heads and Holding Tank Areas in addition to the Bilge and Engine room. I own a 46’ Sportfisherman and my family spends many weekends on board at the marina. We’ve experienced odors coming from the heads and Hoses that run to the Holding Tank.
